Production Training Complete - Ready, Set, ACTion!

Our amazing team of teachers (see them below, at a training event!) has completed their Year End Production Training, and are ready to bring action-packed plays to the Port Elizabeth studios of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy!  We are so proud of our productions - every single student in the Academy gets to perform in their class play, and every single student in the Academy gets to make a valuable contribution to the end product.  Productions will happen at the Savoy Theatre in November, and rehearsals will begin during the course of this week, next week and the week after.

Our productions are an amazing end to a year of building confidence and communication skills.  Watching the results in our students as they participate in their class productions is incredible!  To have your child join us now to participate in one of these plays, simply call 041 367 1210, or check us out on www.helenogrady.co.za .

Drama Grows Confidence

We are so proud to continually receive wonderful testimonies from happy parents, just like the one below! As our students diligently attend our classes each week, their confidence and communication skills continue to grow. It is so rewarding for our teachers to see the difference that they are making in the lives of their students week by week.

Classes run from Monday to Friday across Port Elizabeth and in Uitenhage
- there is a studio near you! See our website for full details, as well as an online Enrolment Form.

Holistic Development

Our self-development drama programme not only focuses on building communication and performance skills, but also assists our students with co-ordination skills! Here, our Uitenhage students are enjoying their mime to music - a very popular part of our lessons! Uitenhage drama classes have been running every Monday since 1999, and our classes are held at the Methodist Church hall.

Loving Our Training!

Every time I am involved in training new Principals, I have a renewed sense of awe in how our international developmental drama programme truly impacts the lives of our students. Developing confidence and communication skills, as well as providing a creative outlet where our students can express themselves in an unintimidating and nurturing environment, is truly empowering in the lives of young people. Drama classes run across South Africa, six days a week. There is a studio near you!
